It will be stated in the admission letter if you are exempted from the semester fee or not.
Semester fees cover general administrative costs and are not tuition fees. If you are a degree student with citizenship outside the EU/EEA/Swiss area you will need to pay tuition fees.
Deadlines
- Autumn semester: 1 September
- Spring semester: 1 February
Remember that you have to activate your student account before you can pay the semester fee and register for the semester.
Please note: You must have paid your semester fee prior to registering.
The semester fee is NOK 845.
Generate an invoice in StudentWeb. Payment information for your semester fees, i.e. account number, KID (costumer identification) number and the amount to be paid can be found in StudentWeb. You can pay in the same way as you usually pay invoices through your bank. Do not fill in an invoice by hand - use internet banking. If necessary, you can order a paper invoice in StudentWeb.
The fee has to be paid each semester.The university system may take 1-3 days to process your payment, after which time you will be able to register by logging in to StudentWeb.
Important to remember:
- Register your contact information and ensure that it is correct. Ensure that you enter the country code for your mobile number.
- Ensure that you are registered for classes and examinations.
- In part 2 of the registration, "Educational plan", you will find all your courses. In some cases you need to add courses, for example when choosing elective courses.
When you have registered, you will be able to access your personal course schedule and courses in Canvas.
