- The University Library (UB) offers a variety of courses for researchers and employees on academic skills, in addition to individual counseling and guidance. Some of the topics covered: Academic writing, systematic literature searching, publishing (incl. Open Access), research data management and Open Science. Nord University advises their PhD candidates and postdocs on developing their career plan.
The career plan is reviewed annually with your supervisor in connection with progress reporting (start-up, mid-term, and final seminar).
The plan can also serve as a useful tool during performance appraisal meetings. Ask your leaders for feedback if you need any more input.
