Individual Curriculum

The course is organised on an individual basis, i.e. the student and his/her supervisor together decide on a curriculum that is related to, though not the very background for, the thesis.
On successful completion of the course:
Knowledge
The student should:
- Have an overview of theory and problems in a topic at Master¿s level. The topic will be relevant for biology, chemistry or statistics
- Be able to acquire new knowledge in this topic
Skills
The student should:
- Demonstrate an overview of problems in this topic at Master¿s level
- Know how to find relevant literature about this topic
General competence
The student should:
- Be able to use this knowledge in his or her master thesis
- Be able to communicate with other biologists about this topic at Master¿s level
No tution fees. Semester registration and course literature.
Elective: MSc in Marine Ecology and MSc in Aquaculture
Self-study under supervision
The study programme is evaluated annually by students by way of course evaluation studies (mid-term evaluation and final evaluation). These evaluations are included in the university¿s quality assurance system.
Oral examination, grading rule Letter grades.
