Subject didactics includes key issues that lie in the intersection of vocational qualifications and work tasks, professionally based knowledge, methodological problems, pedagogical-psychological assessments and training and professional and social issues.

The research questions are related to the content of the subject, how and why one works with the subject and the connection between these perspectives.

Subject didactics in physical education/sports education are aimed at the student developing competence in relation to planning, implementation and critical assessment of teaching and learning.

The didactics of physical education/sport are largely based on experience-oriented and experience-based knowledge development and dissemination.

In the didactics study, the transition from science/basic subjects to school subjects is an important field of work. In the programme, emphasis will be placed on the introduction to and exemplary learning of newer forms of work in school and working life, for example Thematic and Project Work: Use of ICT Adapted Training.
