ECO2004
Introduction to entrepreneurship and business idea development is a practically oriented course focusing on developing new business ideas and concepts through creative processes.

Upon completed course the student will have the following learning outcome:
Knowledge - The students can
- Have knowledge about the starting new businesses and the possible usefulness of business planning
- Know how new businesses can form and focus business ideas in relation to the market
- Have knowledge about how to design a business concept
- Have insights concerning relevant issues in relation to starting a new business
Skills - The students can
- Identifying and form own business ideas through actively participating in creative processes
- Assess strengths and weaknesses with regard to own business ideas
General competence - The students can
- Present and describe in writing and orally business ideas
- Plan and carry out relevant tasks relating to the development of business ideas
- Discuss views and experiences with others with respect to different types of business ideas

The study programme is evaluated annually by students by way of course evaluation studies (mid-term evaluation and final evaluation). These evaluations are included in the university's quality assurance system.
