Screenwriting
Students will explore the craft of storytelling in terms ofstory development and script writing. The course will have a particular focus on short films and documentaries but will also have a lesser introduction on other platforms and genres.
This course is critical for aspiring writers, but will also aid directors, producers and other creative practitioners to gain insights into the essential concepts and processes involved in the creation, communication and interpretation of story. Screenwriting goes into detail about developing ideas, story structure, character description and development, and dialogue.
