In addition, there will be an introduction to the philosophy of science and an in-depth study of key geographical theories and methodological approaches. In all, the course will provide the candidate with a deeper understanding of the ‘common thread’ found within geography; the critical interaction between humans, society and nature. Emphasis is placed on knowledge in writing a bachelor’s thesis as a scientific piece of work.
