Testing in Sports

The course should mainly provide broad knowledge about what characterizes a good test in sports and how various factors can affect test results. It will also focus on why you want to test, areas of use for various tests, and examples.

The student must be admitted to the study program for Skill and Performance Development in Sports. It is also possible to apply for single course.

In addition to the semester fee and curriculum literature, the student is assumed to have a laptop computer at his disposal.

Organization of teaching:

The subject will consist of 80% digital lectures with assignments and 20% practice and testing linked to these.

The students evaluate the study program annually through course and study program evaluations. These evaluations are included as part of the university's quality assurance system.

All work requirements are assessed as approved/not approved. Counts 0/100 of the grade in the subject. All work requirements must be approved to be awarded an exam grade.

Oral examination. Duration: 1 hour. Grade expressions: A-F. Counts 100/100 of the grade in the subject.

Generating an answer using ChatGPT or similar artificial intelligence and submitting it wholly or partially as one's own answer is considered cheating

Recommended prerequisites: IDR1015, IDR1016, IDR1017, IDR1018, IDR1019 or equivalent year unit in sports

Overlap refers to a similarity between courses with the same content. Therefore, you will receive the following reduction in credits if you have taken the courses listed below:
