Upon successful completion of this course, the student:

Knowledge:

• Have knowledge of the central software contained within the Windows suite.
• Have knowledge of effective use of literature, source criticism, and reference management.
• Have knowledge of Health & Safety regulations both for field and laboratory work.

Skills:

• Can execute simple file management.
• Can use different types of data tools for simple presentations of collected data.

General competences:

• Can perform a literature search.
• Have insight into reference management in conjunction with academic writing.
• Can conduct simple file management tasks and have a competent ability to write academic papers.
