Master's Thesis Journalismn
This course starts with a 10-week period of practical training on an editorial staff or in a communications department. In a practically oriented master's programme like this, it is important to allow theory and skills to meet in the exercise of journalism or communications under expert guidance.
After the end of the practical training period, the student shall work on a master's thesis under guidance. The master's thesis shall either be based on a major project or be a reflection on a professional and/or ethical issue from the practical training period.
Conducting independent research and development work is important so that the students can demonstrate that they are able to reflect professionally on their own experience and the experiences of others.

- Journalist students have in-depth knowledge of being a journalist on an editorial staff, how an editorial staff is built up and how the staff cooperate.
- Communications students have in-depth knowledge of being a communicator in an organisation/company, of how a communications department is built up and functions in relation to the rest of the company/organisation.
