The course gives students an introduction to a wide range of theories and tools within brand building. In addition, the course provides students with knowledge of what characterizes strong brands and insight into strategically important steps for creating, developing, and building strong brands.
The course gives students an introduction to a wide range of theories and tools within brand building. In addition, the course provides students with knowledge of what characterizes strong brands and insight into strategically important steps for creating, developing, and building strong brands.
The course is only open to students on the bachelor's program in international marketing or the semester package "Business".
Knowledge
The student must:
- have a broad knowledge of key theories in brand building.
- have knowledge of important forums and journals to update your own knowledge within brand management.
- have knowledge of what characterizes strong international brands and key steps involved in developing a strong brand.
Skills
The student must be able to:
- explain key concepts within the field.
- conduct surveys and systematize collected data for further application in the strategy to build a strong brand.
- account for individual elements in the brand pyramid and how they build on each other.
General competence
The student is expected to:
- be able to reflect on ethical and moral issues concerning the application of different influencing strategies.
- be able to carry out simple surveys and analyzes to differentiate and strengthen new and established brands.
- be able to discuss and exchange experiences on how to solve various professional practical problems with other peers.
Paid semester fee and syllabus literature. It is also required that students have a laptop at their disposal.

Lectures and case.
The study programme is evaluated annually by students by way of course evaluation studies. These evaluations are included in the university's quality assurance system.
Simple calculator and two bilingual dictionaries. Generating responses using ChatGPT or similar artificial intelligence and submitting them wholly or partially as your own work is considered cheating
