Higher Education Entrance Qualification

A candidate who has completed his or her qualification should have the following learning outcomes:

Knowledge

  • is acquainted with management of knowledge workers and of knowledge institutions, with a special focus upon strategies to develop a stong culture for learning
  • has broad knowledge of main themes, theories and issues related to learning and development of competence in organisations

Skills

  • can identify and analyze possibilties and challenges related to leadership, learning and competence development in organizations

General competence

  • has knowledge and understanding of different perspectives on management, learning and development of competence in knowledge institusions.
No costs except semester registration fee and syllabus literature. It is required that students possess their own laptop.
A compulsory course for the Human Resource Management, one year programme and the Bachelor of Organization and Management. Elective for other students at the Nord University satisfying the prerequisites to take the course
Workshops physical and virtual, that includes lectures, exercises and group assignments.
Annual evaluations which are included in the university´s quality assurance system.
Generating an answer using ChatGPT or simular artificial intelligence and submitting it wholly or partially as one`s own answer is considered cheating.
