Organizational Psychology

OR214S
The course will provide an introduction to basic organizational psychology with an emphasis on management. The course covers such topics as leader roles, motivation, stress, work environment, "new" working life, restructuring amongst others
General admission

The purpose of this course is to give students a basic understanding and knowledge of organizational psychology, personnel management, resource development and restructuring of organizations.

Students will on successful completion of the course be able to:

  • demonstrate knowledge of organizational psychological processes, so that students can understand, predict and influence behavior in organizations
  • understand the various principles lying behind motivating employees
No costs except semester registration fee and syllabus literature
Compulsory course for the Human Resource Management, one year programme and the Bachelor of Organization and Management. Elective for other students at the Nord University who fill the prerequisites
Lectures, including individual voluntary test exam.
The study programme is evaluated annually by students by way of course evaluation studies (mid-term evaluation and final evaluation). These evaluations are included in the university's quality assurance system
