The course provides an introduction to basic organizational psychology with an emphasis on management. The course covers topics such as leader roles, motivation, stress, work environment, "new" working life and restructuring.

Higher Education Entrance Qualification

The purpose of this course is to give students a basic understanding and knowledge of organizational psychology, personnel management, resource development and restructuring of organizations.

Students will on successful completion of the course be able to:

  • demonstrate knowledge of organizational psychological processes, so that students can understand, predict and influence behavior in organizations
  • understand the various principles lying behind motivating employees
No costs except semester registration fee and course literature. It is required that students possess their own laptop.
Compulsory course for the one year programme and the bachelor programme in Human Resource Management. Elective for other students at the Nord University.
Session-based teaching with lectures. Individual voluntary test exam.
The study programme is evaluated annually by students by way of course evaluation studies (mid-term evaluation and final evaluation). These evaluations are included in the university's quality assurance system
