The course will provide knowledge that can strengthen communication between actors within companies and organizations.
The course will provide knowledge that can strengthen communication between actors within companies and organizations. Emphasis placed on how the different communicative skills can contribute differently to the various levels in an enterprise or organization. The course emphasizes understanding of different theoretical approaches in communication, as well as various communication techniques that are appropriate in organizations and businesses. The course also provides a basis for reflection on the influence they have in communication by virtue of their professional role where they have great influence on the people in your organization.
Higher Education Entrance Qualification

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Knowledge

  • The course will give students a basic understanding of and knowledge about the relational communication in organizations and businesses.
  • Understand and clarify directions and perspectives in communication.
  • Understand ethical challenges in communications within an organization / business

Skills

  • Could to be conscious of their own and others' communication in different contexts in a business
  • Be able to analyze and evaluate the use of different communication techniques in various venues in an organization / business.

General competence

  • Could to be conscious of their own and others' communication in different contexts in a business
  • Be able to analyze and evaluate the use of different communication techniques in various venues in an organization / business.
No costs except semester fee and syllabus. It is required that students possess their own laptop.
Compulsory for Bachelor in Human Resource management, and the one-year-program in HRM. Elective for other students.
Lectures and seminars during gatherings.
Annual evaluations, which are included in the university´s quality assurance system.
Pen, ruler, laptop, and up to 2 bilingual dictionaries
