FOU Written Assignment PPU A

PED1010

Introduction to the course

Supervised and practice-linked research and development-based assignment.

Course content

Teacher education shall be research and development-based (R&D-based), where PPU A shall communicate and engage students in scientific/artistic working methods, critical thinking and recognised, research and development-based knowledge. This will promote the students' independence, analytical skills and critical reflection abilities so that as future teachers they can use their R&D competence to acquire new knowledge and further develop their own competence and their schools as learning organisations.

PPU A at Nord University approaches this task by engaging in a supervised and practice-linked R&D assignment during the final academic year.

This R&D assignment carries 15 credits and the responsibilities for training and supervision are shared by pedagogy teachers and didacticians.
