Placement in Norway in International Marketing

Relevant work placement within the field of the Bachelor in International Marketing's programme.
Completion of the first two years of the bachelor's programme International Marketing with satisfactory results, normally an average grade of C. Certain deadlines apply to work placements. See the placement handbook (Fronter) for more details.

On successful completion of the course:

Knowledge and understanding

The student should:

  • be familiar with the host company's products
  • be familiar with the host company's market competitive situation and its marketing strategies.

Skills

The student should:

  • be able to apply knowledge obtained during the first two years of the study programme
  • be able to function in a guided and relevant work experience in the host company

General Competence

The student should:

  • be able to gain working experience relevant to his or her education through meaningful and personal activity
  • be able to gain working experience at the host company
Costs: Depends on the location of the placement.
Elective course
The study programme is evaluated annually by students by way of course evaluation studies. These evaluations are included in the university's quality assurance system.
