Qualitative Analysis
A scientific master's degree of 120 ECTS credits is normally required. Students in the Ph.D. program in professional science are prioritized. The course can also be taken by students in other Ph.D. programs. See here for the ranking regulations.
Additionally, participants must either have a proposal for a Ph.D. dissertation or an outline for a research project that they can use and work on during the course. Maximum 30 study places.
Knowledge
The candidate:
-Is at the forefront of knowledge in qualitative analysis, relevant to their field.
-Can assess the appropriateness and application of various qualitative analysis methods.
Skills
The candidate:
-Can critically evaluate different qualitative analysis methods and, based on this, make methodological choices and conduct analyses related to various qualitative issues.
-Can identify, analyze, and handle complex professional questions, as well as develop new insights through critical challenges to established knowledge and practice in conducting qualitative analysis.
General competence
The candidate:
-Can perform qualitative analysis with professional integrity.
-Can communicate the execution of qualitative analysis in national and international channels.
-Can participate in debates related to qualitative research methods in international forums.
