Professional Practice in Game Development
The course integrates professional practice with career development across games and related creative industries. Students gain insight into innovation options, international industry structures, workflows, sustainability and expectations through project collaborations, or industry-focused assignments. In parallel, the course emphasises professionalism, international networking, communication, and career planning, including preparing portfolios, CVs, and presentations, as well as engaging with networks and industry stakeholders.
The course combines joint activities for all students (career seminars, cross-disciplinary reflection, professional communication) with discipline-specific practice components tailored to the game industry.
