It is possible to apply for admission to the subject as an individual subject. Reservations are made regarding free capacity on the subject. The applicant must meet the applicable admission requirements for the Bachelor in Business Administration, Bachelor in Economics, Digitalisation and Business Development, or Bachelor in Real Estate.

Knowledge The candidate should have:
- knowledge of concepts like estimator, estimate, confidence interval
- knowledge of concepts such as the null hypothesis and alternative hypothesis, rejection and acceptance error, significance, significance probability, strength
Skills The candidate should:
- be able to calculate probabilities and applying tables using the probability distributions
- be able to analyze and interpret the results of statistical surveys using basic methods of estimation and hypothesis testing
- be able to estimate a simple regression model and assess how well or poorly it functions in a given situation
General competence
The candidate should have:
- a basic overview of issues related to the use of polls and other statistical techniques related to politics, economics and science
Due to the Covid-19 epedemic, a number of assessments and exams at Nord University has been changed.
Changes are made in accordance with the Temporary Regulations on Supplements to Regulation 31/01/2019 no. 63: Concerning Studies and Examinations at Nord University - Extraordinary Measures as a Result of the Coronavirus Epidemic- according to §2 of the Corona Epidemic, Assessment Methods, Sections 1-3
To accommodate this, the form of assessment will be changed from Written School examination to Take -home Examination on this course in the spring of 2020. Grading: Approved/not Approved
