Project Management and Knowledge
The subject is geared towards two different main goals. Knowledge and contact with the Norwegian theater and film industry, and knowledge of running own projects. With greater knowledge of structures and people in the film and theater industry, it becomes easier for students to be able to adapt and develop their professional skills. The arenas are constantly developing and it is possible to influence these changes. The student will also gain basic knowledge about running own projects from initiative to implementation of production.
Content: Industry knowledge. Network building. The Norwegian Actors' Association's function as a contractual document for actors. Introduction to marketing. Introduction to project planning and project management. Introduction to project description. Target group thinking. Budget and accounting. Knowledge of the playing field. Review of funding arrangements for theater and film.

Overall assessment
Practical exam in a group with individual assessment. Duration up to 6 hours. Grading scale Pass/Fail. Counts 100/100.
Compulsory participation 90%. Approved/not approved. Compulsory participation must be approved in order to receive a final grade in the course.
