Creative Production

TEA2010
The course gives the student the opportunity to develop, produce and perform independent theatrical expressions, where communication and relationship to the audience receive special focus. This is the student's own summary of the academic work in theater that has been done during the study. The course gives the student the opportunity to develop, produce and perform independent music.

KNOWLEDGE

The student

has good knowledge and experience with central working methods, tools and processes in creative production

has good knowledge of work ethics in a collaborative process for creation.

has knowledge of planning and developing a creative production from idea to finished production

has insight and awareness of artistic choices in creative production, and their ethical implications for society.

has knowledge of how to work with artistic proposals in various creative productions.

Has knowledge of how to relate their creative productions to a wider cultural, social and political context

SKILLS

The student

can use their knowledge to create short innovative plays.

can research, develop and make informed choices when it comes to using different styles, interpretation strategies and designing methods to create new forms of artistic expression

can use improvisation as a compositional tool to develop new forms of artistic expression

GENERAL SKILLS

can use their understanding of work ethics to collaborate on artistic projects and promote good practice.

In addition to the semester fee and curriculum literature, it is assumed that the student has a laptop computer at his disposal. Material fee NOK 1,000 per semester.

The study program is evaluated annually by the students through course evaluations and study program evaluation. The evaluations are included as part of the university's quality assurance system.

Overall assessment

Practical exam in a group with individual assessment. Duration up to 6 hours. Grading scale Pass/Fail. Counts 100/100.

Compulsory participation 90%. Approved/not approved. Compulsory participation must be approved in order to receive a final grade in the course.

A practical work requirement, autumn. Approved/not approved. Work requirements to be approved in order to receive a final grade in the course.
