Anastasiya Henk
Anastasiya Henk is an Associate Professor in Management and Strategy for Digital Transformation at Nord University Business School. She leads the Digital Management and Marketing Research Group and serves as the Leader of the Nord University Academic AI Resource Group, responsible for strengthening the university’s academic work on artificial intelligence across disciplines.
She defended her PhD in Business in 2019 with a dissertation titled Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea: Management of Business Processes in Turbulent Environments, which investigated how offshore shipping companies adapt their management practices when operating under uncertainty in Arctic waters.
Her current research focuses on how artificial intelligence and digital technologies reshape organisations, governance structures and professional work. Her work examines AI governance in public and private sector organisations, AI competence development, and the adoption and use of AI-driven services, with particular attention to vulnerable and sensitive user groups. She collaborates with municipalities, public agencies and private sector actors to explore responsible and effective implementation of data-driven and AI-enabled solutions in practice.
