Associate professor in international relations at the Faculty of social sciences.

Member of the division for History, geography and internasjonal relations.

Co-leader for GEO-Security Research Group.

Holds holds a PhD in political science from UiT - The Arctic University in Tromsø, with a thesis titled: Governance by conference? Actors and agendas in Arctic politics (2021). Master in political science from UiT/UiO.

Fulbright Fellow for 2025/2026.

DIrector of studies for the bachelor program in international relations.

Course responsible for the bachelor thesis in international relations, Introduction to international relations and Norwegian politics and Norway in the world.

Research interests include foreign and security policy, international politics related to the High North and the Arctic, governance, regime theory and agenda setting.
