Ensieh Roud holds a PhD in Organization and Leadership, with a dissertation on The Role of Joint Training in Inter-organizational Collaboration in Emergency Management. Her academic background includes a Master of Science in Maritime Management from the University of South-Eastern Norway and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Shipping from BI Norwegian School of Management. She has published several articles in prestigious journals and contributed as a reviewer for Safety Science.

Ensieh has developed and taught PhD- and Master-level courses at Nord University, including courses in crisis and change management, strategic management, and perspectives on crisis management. She has strong pedagogical competence in university teaching, digital instruction, and student-active learning methods, and she is an experienced Master’s-level supervisor.

Her research focuses on leadership, crisis communication, trust, improvisation, exercise design, cross-level learning, and inter-organizational and cross-border collaboration in emergency contexts.
