I am a registered nurse with a Master’s degree in Health Science from NTNU and a Master’s degree in Public Health Nursing from USN. I also hold a vocational teaching qualification, university pedagogy, and online pedagogy from Nord University, as well as Leadership from UiT. My further education includes child and adolescent mental health, trauma, violence, and crisis management from UiT and NTNU. I have professional experience from several hospitals in Norway, and I worked for 10 years as a public health nurse. I also have experience from nursing homes and emergency care services.


Areas of Expertise

Health promotion and preventive work for children and adolescents, pedagogical and didactic research related to decentralised nursing education.

Since 2016, I have taught a wide range of subjects in the Bachelor of Nursing program, including course responsibility for “Basic Nursing,” "Practical skills", "Health promotion and preventive care", and the bachelor thesis with supervision responsibilities. From 2021 to 2027, I have the main responsibility for the course “Nursing for Children and Adolescents in a Health Promotion and Preventive Perspective.” I have supervised nursing students in clinical placements at all levels from 2014 to 2025.

I am part of a research project on decentralized nursing students (2021–2026), focusing on pedagogical and structural aspects of nursing education in rural areas.
