Morten Andreas Aune
I work in the field of exercise science, with a primary focus on skill acquisition in sport, alongside broader interests in training and health. My research and teaching draw on perspectives from motor control and learning, biomechanics, psychology, and physiology. This interdisciplinary foundation enables me to explore both fundamental mechanisms of human movement and applied questions related to performance enhancement, effective instruction, and the promotion of physical activity.
I am affiliated with the Sport and Human Movement Science (SaHMS) research group and the Neuroscience and Motor Control Lab (NaMSC). In addition, I serve as the coordinator for the second year of the Bachelor programme in Sport Science. My teaching portfolio includes courses such as Principles of Performance Development, Motor Control (IDR1029), Sport, Physical Activity and Health (IDR1031), Measurement of Physical Activity (IDR1032), and Movement Science and Anatomy (IDR1025
