Nahum Welang is an Associate Professor of English Literature/Culture and Didactics with teaching and supervision experience at various institutions in Norway and abroad. He has authored a monogragh, The Affirmative Discomforts of Black Female Authorship: Rethinking Triple Consciousness in Contemporary American Culture, edited a Special Issue, Plague as Metaphor, and contributed to several edited volumes such as Microdystopias: Aesthetics and Ideologies in a Broken Moment. His research has also been published in the Journal of Popular Culture, the Canadian Review of American Studies, the Journal of Transnational American Studies, Open Cultural Studies, the Journal of American Culture and others.
