Ongoing PhD project:

The PhD project I am working on is about the phenomenon of consolation, and I am particularly interested in the connection between consolation and being at home. In my project, I investigate the significance of the home in relation to the experience of consolation in people living with incurable diseases, as well as how nurses/specialist nurses who work with palliative care in municipal home care services can contribute to experiences with consolation in people that live at home and have incurable illness. The project is rooted in an existential practice phenomenological research tradition where the purpose is to investigate the phenomenon of consolation through people's lived experiences.
