Tove Ingebrigtsen
Educated preschool teacher with a master’s degree in adapted education, general pedagogical profile. Has worked as a leader and a pedagogue in a kindergarten, class teacher for grades 1-4, and as a pedagogue in å special education team . The team assists schools (grades 1-10) in cases where students, for various reasons, do not receive an adequate educational offer.
Employed as a university lecturer in pedagogy at Nord University from 2015 to 2022.
Employed as an associate professor in pedagogy at Nord University from 2022 to present.
Areas of Interest:
Organizational development, leadership, transition from kindergarten to school, children with behavioral challenges in kindergarten and school, learning environment, aesthetic working methods
Teaches pedagogy in the preschool teacher education program across several knowledge areas. Responsible for the subjects Pedagogical Leadership and Guidance, and Leadership and Change Work in Kindergarten. Both subjects are part of the Master’s program in Kindergarten Pedagogy.
Teaches guidance in the mentor education program.
Partner in REKOM - Kindergarten-based competence development.
Research Project: EQS - European Quality Seal. A European research project that studies kindergarten staff and parents’ perceptions of quality in kindergartens.
