High North Center
The High North Center for Business and Governance is an international center for research, education and communication, connected to societal and business development in the Arctic. Established in 2007, the High North Center works closely together with companies, government bodies and other stakeholders to develop knowledge, competence and awareness about the potential for innovation and sustainable value creation in the Arctic.

CHNL promotes economically and environmentally sustainable, reliable and innovative transport and logistics solutions in the High North. The centre contributes with research and development, educational programmes and dissemination of research results, advisory activity and information sharing for and together with businesses, public authorities, NGOs and other stakeholders.

The Centre for Industrial Business Development is a research centre that focuses on issues at the intersection between industry, business development and innovation. The main focus is on research and innovation projects that are relevant for Norwegian industry in general and Nordland county in particular. The centre is located in Mo i Rana.

Center for crisis management and collaboration - Nordlab
The Center for Crisis Management and Collaboration – Nordlab is a center for research, education, and competence development in preparedness and interagency cooperation in the High North. The Center contributes to the University’s strategic goals in societal safety and emergency preparedness. The Center has expertise in pedagogical design, planning, execution, and evaluation of exercises. The Nordlab Exercise and Simulation Laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities in Bodø and technology that supports complex interagency exercises, research, and education.
The Center’s practice-oriented research and tailor-made lifelong learning programs, developed in close interaction with the needs of society and industry at national and international levels, are primarily focused on preparedness and cooperation in complex contexts, learning in emergency exercises, and crisis management.
Engage
Engage is an interdisciplinary development and research environment for entrepreneurship as a method in university subjects. Engage has the status of a Centre for Excellent Education.
