About the project
PATH is designed as an innovative learning process using adult education methodologies tailored to 55+ individuals. It supports active aging by guiding participants through self-assessment, training, learning by doing, and mentoring. The project addresses demographic challenges and labor shortages by developing scalable solutions for employers and policymakers, fostering long-term well-being, workforce participation, and sustainable aging.
PATH includes needs assessments, training programs, services for 55+ people and employers, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement.
- We support people 55+ in their growth through life planning, training, and counseling.
- Encourage confident transitions to retirement age in order to find new roles.
- Work with employers to build age-friendly, inclusive workplaces.
A methodological handbook and policy recommendations will support replication and adoption at national and EU levels.
PATH will create a replicable framework supporting older adults in the fields of active ageing. Expected outcomes include improved workforce retention, increased well-being, and enhanced social participation. The project will influence employers, policymakers, and training providers, ensuring the long-term sustainability of age-friendly policies and programs. Findings will be disseminated at local, national, and EU levels to maximize impact.
