About the study location

This wooded campus, at the edge of Pilat, hosts Institute of Technology (IUT) of Saint-Étienne, and 5 research laboratories. This campus offers an environment close to nature, with a shared garden and refuges for birds, insects and small mammals. Part of the campus is also managed in eco-pasture.
