Knowledge:
The student
- can recognise some central examples of architectural elements and buildings
- can describe some central sites of cultural heritage
- is able to reflect on the role of cultural heritage and public space in society
- is able to describe how art and architecture may impact on national, regional and individual issues of identity
- has knowledge about main points in Nordland's history through the ages
- is aware of how geographical,and environmental conditions affect the historical and contemporary development of culture
Skills:
The student
- is able to reflect on the role of art, architecture, history and cultural heritage today
- can arrange experience-based learning-activities in relation to art, architecture, history and cultural heritage sites
- is able to critically address and reflect on the challenges related to the mediation of art, architecture, history and cultural heritage
- can use experience-based learning as a tool to gain deeper understanding of culture and history
General competence:
The student
- has developed insight in learning through participating in practical activities.
- can develop learning activities connected with art, architecture, history and cultural heritage.
In addition to the semester fee and syllabus literature, it is assumed that the student has a laptop at their disposal. Personal equipment in connection with outdoor activities is covered by the student.
Own contribution for excursions 2800 NOK. Meals and drinks and public transport are not included.
Composite assessment (SV): All parts described below must be approved/passed to get a grade in the course.
Compulsory participation (OD): A minimum of 80% participation is required. Counts 0/100 of the grade.
Assignment (OP): Assessment expressions A-F, where A is the best grade and F is not passed. Counts 100/100 of the grade. This scientific essay shall be related to experiences, knowledge and abilities concerning the contents of the course..
All aids may be used.
