Physiology and Anatomy
Upon completion of the course, the student is expected to:
Knowledge:
- has knowledge of the anatomy of domestic animals (cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, dogs, cats and poultry)
- has knowledge of how the body's organs and the body as a whole functions
- has knowledge of key research areas in this field
Skills:
- can explain, or demonstrate, the key anatomy of domestic animals
- can account for simple issues related to the body's normal functions
General competence:
- has basic knowledge of the biology and anatomy of domestic animals, and how the various organs and organ systems function independently and as a whole
- can communicate how the body's normal functions are affected by, and themselves affect, abnormal conditions and disease

The compulsory participation and the 3 courseworks comprises 0/100 of the grade, are evaluated with the grading scale approved/ not approved, and must be approved prior to submission of the written examination.
Written examination, 4 hours, comprises 100/100 of the grade, grading scale letter grades.
Pen, ruler and up to 2 bilingual dictionaries.
Generating an answer using ChatGPT or similar artificial intelligence and submitting it wholly or partially as one's own answer is considered cheating.
