Second Instrument, Vocal Training 1
The Bi-instrument Vokal course provides a basic introduction to song and voice use focusing on singing, as well as joy of singing and repertoire range. The course aims to provide experience in vocal diversity in terms of genres, style and language. The course aims to provide students with confidence in their own voice and an insight and understanding of the voice’s potential for musical performance.
The course will provide students with experience of multiple voice and solo singing and will further focus on performance and communication. The course emphasises repertoire knowledge and experience of different ways of working and communicating, and is adapted to vocal work with children in primary and lower secondary school.
The teaching is organized in a whole class and with supervision in groups and individually.
Compulsory teaching because students have a mutual learning benefit by working together. The program has a progression that requires to a certain extent a common academic progression, not least when it comes to the acquisition of repertoire and rehearsal and making music together.
Overlap refers to a similarity between courses with the same content. Therefore, you will receive the following reduction in credits if you have taken the courses listed below:
