The course covers practical skills/procedures related to the practice of nursing.
The students starts developing good aptitude related to basic nursing and carrying out procedures.hygiene, good working positions, techniques for moving patients and planning. The nurse's responsibility for explaining actions taken based on theoretical knowledge is emphasised. The topics aof communication and interaction are also covered.
On successful completion of the course the student should have the following learning outcomes:

- Be able to follow hygiene principles
- Inform the patient of the procedure in question

- Provide correct medicinal treatment according to current laws and regulations
