Birgitte is a Ph.d. student at the faculty of social Science.
Her research is inspired by feminist methodology together with queer, post-colonial and indigenous theories.
Currently Birgitte is a Phd student at the project: Indigenous homemaking as survivance: Homemaking as cultural resilience to the effects of colonization and assimilation (INDHOME)
Birgitte has her primary focus on homemaking as cultural survivance among Kalaallit (greenlandic Inuit) living in and outside of Kalaallit Nunaat.
