Physical Education, Activity and Health (PEAH)

The research group deals with inclusion and quality in physical education, outdoor life with a focus on motivation, as well as management and inclusion.

The research group also focuses on the degree of activity and physical shape among children, young adults, and adults, in addition to studies on nutrition and health.
​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The research group is a part of the research division Physical education, sports science and outdoor education.

The research group's studies are, among other things, based on health-promoting perspectives, in which physical activity and nutrition are central. The research group also conducts research with the aim of producing knowledge which contributes to more inclusion in physical education using pedagogical, sociological, and physiological perspectives, in addition to producing knowledge about motivation in physical education.

Master's students with related topics are invited to participate in the research group. The research group's members cooperate with master's students on publications. The research group's articles are utilized in teaching at both master's and bachelor's levels.
