In a vocationally oriented master's program like this, it is important to combine theory and skills in the practice of journalistic work under expert guidance. In the fifth semester, the students will therefore complete a 6-week internship in a newsroom.
In a vocationally oriented master's program like this, it is important to combine theory and skills in the practice of journalistic work under expert guidance. In the fifth semester, the students will therefore complete a 6-week internship in a newsroom. The students are assigned a supervisor in the practical editorial office. The faculty negotiates agreements with each editorial office about the placement of students in practice and assigns internships to the students. Students are obliged to accept the internship that is made available in one of the faculty's cooperating editorial offices.

In addition to costs for the semester fee and curriculum literature, the student must expect the following expenses: The student must cover expenses for travel and stay at the place of practice, but will receive a salary based on the current agreement.

The study program is evaluated annually by the students through course evaluations and study program evaluation. These evaluations are included as part of the university's quality assurance system
