Norwegian Language 2D, 5-10

NOR2011
Norwegian 2 builds on Norwegian 1, providing deeper, more extensive knowledge about central topics within the subject. Students further develop their own language skills, textual competencies and communication abilities.
Elective

Learning activities and teaching methods include:

  • Individual and group study
  • Lectures
  • Testing and assessment tasks
  • Practical and aesthetic approaches
  • Seminars
  • Oral and written presentations

Active participation is encouraged. E-learning is an important part of the programme. Online activities supplement traditional learning activities.

Assessment aims to demonstrate achievement of learning outcomes. Some activities are defined as compulsory.

Reflection upon teaching practice also forms an important part of students` development as teachers.

Take-home examination (HJ): Essay written within 2 days. Accounts for 100% of overall grade. Grading scale A-F.

Language: Nynorsk

Compulsory attendance (OD): Attendance at least 80% of all teaching. Grading scale: approved / not approved.

Assessment task (AK): Students will submit work done individually and in groups. Grading scale: approved / not approved.

Overlap refers to a similarity between courses with the same content. Therefore, you will receive the following reduction in credits if you have taken the courses listed below:

NOR2003 - Norwegian Language 2A, 5-10 - 7.5 credits

NOR2004 - Norwegian Language 2B, 5-10 - 7.5 credits
