Internship is an elective subject that gives the student the opportunity to obtain practical work experience from a business, insititution or an organization, who has its business focus within an area that is relevant for the study program of circular bioeceonomy. This will give the students the possibility to combine experiences from the work sphere with studies in a systematic manner, and in due time it might facilitate the transition from student life to working life.

Internship is an elective subject that gives the student the opportunity to obtain practical work experience from a business, insititution or an organization, who has its business focus within an area that is relevant for the study program of circular bioeceonomy. This will give the students the possibility to combine experiences from the work sphere with studies in a systematic manner, and in due time it might facilitate the transition from student life to working life. The student himself/herself is responsible for establishing contact with a potential business, insititution or organization.

The placement periode is 2 days a week for 16 weeks. Some individual adjustments is possible.

The subject is reserved for the study programme Bachelor of Circular Bioeconomy.
Elective course for students on the 5th semester of their Bachelor's Degree in Circular Bioeceonomy.

No costs except semester registration fee and the cost of the literature on the reading list. It is also required that students have a laptop at their disposal.
Elective for students of the Bachelor's Degree in Circular Bioeconomy
A combination of internship, mandatory assessment task and a written assignment.
Study programs are evaluated annually by the students through course and study program surveys. These evaluations are part of Nord University’s quality assurance system for education.

Combined assessment: All the parts described below must be approved or passed in order to receive a final grade in the subject.

Compulsory participation (OD) in a seminar after the internship. Counts 0/100. Approved not approved

PR practice. Counts 0/100. Passed/failed

Assignment (OP): Counts 100/100. Grading rule A-F, where F is not passed
