- Present and summarize social science research on modern Norway
- Apply social science terms to discuss key societal challenges
- Teach about and in multicultural societies using different approaches from social science didactics

- Collaborate with and use the local community as an arena for learning
- Identify and analyze key social science questions in the subject

Submissions: There are two work assignments (AK) during the semester.
Composite assessment (SV) - All part must be approved to get a grade in the subject.
Compulsory participation
Compulsory participation in lessons, a minimum of 80 % attendance. Approved/not approved.
Work assignments (AK)
Work assignments (AK): Two assignments will be given as work requirement during the semester. There may be both individual tasks and group tasks. Assessment expression: Approved/not approved.
Written school exam (SK/S)
School exam (SK/S): Individual written exam, 4 hours. Assessment terms A-F. Weighted 100 percent of final grade.
